Second Format was conceived when the friendship and love of dance music of three dynamic artists converged.  Justin Marchacos, Gavin Stephenson, and Iman Rizky joined forces in the summer of 2014 to begin producing electronic music together.  Justin touted expertise in music composition for award-winning film, luxury advertising, and high-end fashion, while both Gavin and Iman brought extensive experience from decades of DJing and party promotion and production dating back to the legendary days of the Tunnel, Limelight, and Twilo in New York City.  Their collective musical influences span from the Beatles to '70s soul to Depeche Mode and the foundations of dance music in the '90s to artists across various genres who all evoke emotion and tell a story through their music.

Together, the trio has been producing tracks with driving bass lines and catchy, danceable hooks.  Their compositions are multi-dimensional, layered with elements that take the listener on an intense musical journey in which movement never ceases.  Voices, soundscapes, and percussion energetically weave in and out of every Second Format track, creating intelligent music for not only the body but the mind and the soul as well.  Justin's debut live performance at the upcoming Cityfox New Year's Eve party in NYC will showcase a number of these tracks spawning from Second Format collaboration.  

Track releases on Cityfox and beyond are slated to come out on March 10, 2015.
